Shelters and rescue operations need donations from the community to operate. Many animal shelters/rescues do not have the resources they need to care for sick or injured animals. Approximately 80 percent of animals that are euthanized are healthy or treatable and could have been adopted into new homes. Senior dogs and bully breeds are high on the list of dogs that are at-risk for euthanasia. When Rescue French Bulldog started this was one of the hardest parts. Thankfully to some AMAZING donors and now partners Healthy Treatz, we are able to operate at a comfortable level. Since we started Rescue French Bulldogs we have received thousands of inquires and our social media’s have been taking off to keep up with past adoptions as well as feature our new pups looking for their forever homes.
There are many ways you can help
Small, local charities often do not receive the funds and attention that large, national and international organizations receive. Being a self started rescue located in Houston TX we are very lucky to our donors who are looking to find the perfect fit but want to make it an adoption rather bought for thousands of dollars through breeders, with the french bulldog market at a all time high…its twice the scammers. Being a self started rescue located in Houston, TX, we are very lucky to have candidates looking to find the perfect fit by choosing adoption rather than buying for thousands of thousands of dollars from breeders. With the French Bulldog market at an all time high, it’s twice the scammers. Working with our rescue is a guarantee and health checks. Most of our donors are some of the first people we reach out to when french bulldogs come into our care. Knowing they want to help our organization is what makes us able to do what we love everyday and help as many French Bulldogs or like breeds as we possibly can.

Where do rescue French Bulldogs come from?
Every imaginable source! We accept any and all ages. A lot of our French Bulldogs come from families or owners who can no longer care for their dogs for any reason and surrender their pets to us. Some are breeder retirees who are ready for lives in a forever home. Some are puppy mill Frenchies who have never known life outside a cage. Some are strays or owner surrenders – pulled from animal shelters or humane societies. Some dogs are victims of abuse or neglect and are turned over to us by authorities. The more donations the more French Bulldogs we are able to save. Especially when it comes to traveling to get them, the health condition they are in and potential vet bills, etc. See below – some happy RFB owners! And follow our Instagram. @rescuefrenchbulldogs
** Those who donate are often the first we reach out to, not only to THANK them but let them know upcoming Frenchies that will be looking for their foreve homes soon. Pretty much get the inside scoop for helping us do what we love**
